Pathways to net zero for the Spencer Gulf and West Coast Prawn Association

Pathways to Net Zero for the the Spencer Gulf and West Coast Prawn Association supports members of the association in adopting more sustainable practices to achieve net zero.

The guide includes educational materials, case studies and key opportunities for the sector, including refrigeration system overhaul, LED lighting upgrades, engine replacement at end-of-life, hull modification/extension, and sustainability criteria for purchased goods and services.

It presents consensus among the prawn fishing industry for shared goals and to identify opportunities to include sustainable practices in business-as-usual operations that are cost-effective whilst optimising the life of resources.
